Almost there...
This week has been a long and very rough one. First I guess I should start off with saying I feel so bad for those who were in Ike's path. We did get the tail end of the storm. Lots of wind and rain. Power was on and off all day Sunday. Not to much damage though as far as I know. Ohio on the other hand took a good deal of damage. Power has been out for over a million people. This is where my week takes a turn...
My hubby calls me Monday morning, kinda goes like this... Him:" I thought I would call and ask, I know your answer already but I thought I would ask anyways".. Great I'm thinking what now.. He continues with "Our sister cometary was hit hard in Ohio, they want 3 of us to come help them for a few days... Me: "what! A few days!.." Him: "Yes but they will pay us $200 extra per day and we really need the money".. Me: "Silence".. Me: "I guess as long as you are back by Thursday because I have plans already for Friday" Him: "Alright were leaving in the morning, I'll call ya back later".. Click..
Yeah after I got off the phone it kinda hit me.. I'll be home alone with all 4 kids and only $20 for 3 days... eeek! I know we really needed the money but oh my word.. what did I agree to!?
Well I made it, the kids are still alive, I am still sane. (somewhat) Hubby will be home today, thank goodness because I am ready to run away to a place where no one calls you mommy.. I give my salute to the mothers who do this everyday, for the wife's who live with husbands who work away from home. Your amazing.. I could not do it.. No way, no how!
Tomorrow will be a relief.. I get to go out for the night with my good friend Katie. We will be celebrating her bday.. :0) She deserves a good night out... as do I! Heck I deserve a good week out.. lol
Anyways... that's my week. I hope next week will be a little easier.. Hey on the bright side at least we'll have money now! (Till we pay the bills that is...)

So I made it back.....
CA was a nice change of style for me, so many people I haven't seen in a long time and new places that have been built since I was last there. The new remodeled taco bell was ready to greet me once I arrived. They had a taco dude to wave me home and everything.. lol Guess I just had good timing.
Tyson was very shy to meet anyone but once he warmed up (took all of about 10 minutes) he was ready to roll. He enjoyed taking over everyones houses and checking out all the goodies he could get into. Him and my dad hit it off pretty good, I was so glad too because well the last time Jaden was Tyson's age it didn't go so well. Tyson is an easy going boy though and Jaden was a hyper little monkey. He still is.. oy!
I made the most of my time or at least I tried. I still didn't get to see and do everything I had planned on doing. Sucks but I guess that's what happens when you try to fit months worth of stuff into 3 days. I did get to hang out with my girls, fun times like always. I got to hang with my sister and her best friend that was a blast all on it's own. I got to see my mom and step dad, my dad and other family. My little sister I happened to fit in at the last minute, she is hard one to find. :0)
All and all it was a good trip. The fight going was awesome. I got a free seat for Tyson on both flights. The flight back home was less then enjoyable. The flight out of San Jose was late leaving, then the flight leaving AZ was late due to storms. I sat in AZ for over 2 hours with a cranky little boy who wanted to run away the whole time. I was just as cranky I must admit. Once the plane did get to AZ it took some time for them to fill up on gas a figure out a new route home. Needless to say we were suppose to touchdown in Indy at 12 but didn't get down till 2:30 am. Then had to get the bags and load all the kids into the van. Yeah it was not a very good night. Guess that's what happens when one flight goes so well... **sigh**
So I've been home for a couple days now and yikes has it been rough. I felt like I was dying the day after getting home. My insides felt like they were just gonna fall out at any moment. My head hurt my back hurt... just about everything hurt. I was one step away from going to the ER. luckily it eased off a bit and I was able to breath again. I still keep getting sharp pains in my tummy but it's better then feeling like I'm in full blown labor.
Now if I could just get some energy to clean the house. Maybe tomorrow... ;0)~

Wow... I'm not crazy yet?!
So this past couple weeks have been a little crazy... Started it off with the Daughtry concert. I had a blast and can't wait to see him again! Then we move on to the dentist. I go in on Tuesday to hopefully be fitted for crowns and get a tooth fixed. Cross your fingers though, the insurance has been sending us in circles.
Last Friday we took the kids to BW3's to see a couple of WWE wrestlers. If you know my kids then you know this is huge to them... They live for wrestling. Funny I kinda grew up on it myself. With my older brother in the house I think we watched many PPV's. Now my kids watch them.. :0)~ Oh and my hubby he is just as bad. Anyways they got to meet and take pictures with Kofi Kingston and Victoria. Kendric was in heaven, Delaney wished her favorite wrestler was there but once she got up close to the ones who were there she was fine. Jaden was a little stand offish at first but then opened right up and started a conversation with Kofi. Tyson on the other hand wanted nothing to do with anything.
We enjoyed the time with dinner as well. We waited for it to die down before we attempted to get close to them. It worked out well because the kids ended up getting a piece of Kofi Kingston's birthday cake... How many kids can say they had a WWE wrestlers birthday cake? Kinda cool.
So last night the boys and Franz went to Summerslam, yes this is another wrestling event. In fact it's a PPV show. They got lucky and it ended up here in Indiana. We bought these tickets back in April.. Same with the Daughtry tickets. It was part of our treat from our income tax returns. Poor Delaney didn't get to go but next time. I think she'll be ready. I may find a kids event to take her to just to make it up to her. She was really upset she didn't get to go. :0(
I on the other hand had a nice night with only 2 kids.
Now I need to get my butt in gear and get my stuff ready for Cali. I leave on Thursday and return home on Monday. I have so much to do and so little time in CA. 2 years of visiting to make up for. I can't wait... My family and friends will get to meet Tyson for the first time. I know they must be excited, the little booger is already a year and a half.
Now I should be sleeping but here I sit writing this blog... Now I guess I should let people know I have it.

It's a love hate relationship...
So today I went to the Dentist, I was happy for once to be going to the dentist! Most if the time I would rather cut a toe off then go see them. Only this time I wanted to go... I need to get a tooth that chipped fixed.
I was very happy with the dentist, he was very nice and very upfront. He asked me what I wanted to happen and I said "I want to have a normal smile" he looked at me and said good because I want to give you one. He went over the Xrays and pointed out a couple things. He said he would love to give all 4 front teeth a makeover. Meaning cover them in crowns so that they will all be the same color. This would make me so happy! After having them worked on a few times by different dentists they have come out funky tones and shades. All I want is a normal smile... that's it!
The bad news our insurance only covers 50% of the crowns for the front teeth. Covers 80% of everything else. My bill was looking to be around 6K with out the insurance added in yet. So I'm hoping I can get them done a little at a time.
Oh and next will be new boobs... ;0)~

I Rocked Daughtry!
So I bought tickets to see Daughtry way back in April. I had asked a friend to go but she had some personal issues come up and had to cancell. I ended up bringing my good friend Katie with me, she shares a love for Daughtry and I knew she would enjoy it!
We had an awesome time, first band that opened was Virgin Millionaires. We had no idea who they were till they played. I've heard a couple songs but they're still a new band I guess.
My camera took awesome pictures of the first band and then decided to crap out on me when Daughtry came on. I'm guessing it had to do with the lighting and it getting dark before he came on. I got a few decent pictures not as good as I was hopeing for though.
All in all I'd say we had an awesome night. Who wouldn't getting to see Daughtry right? Here are a few more pics of me and Katie. Hope you enjoyed the pictures, I know I enjoyed taking them!
